Arthur
Holt |
|
Arthur first operated
as a boatbuilder from a building by the side of the canal known
as 'The Red Shed', which was later taken over by the Tolfrey
family and used by Stewart Tolfrey and others. Joined up with
James McMillan to purchase the 'Mucker's Island' complex from
the Norton Family and operated under the name of 'Holt &
James'. Later took over the sole running of the boat stores and
yard from James and Caroline McMillan. |
