The
'Chelmer Brig' |
|
Was the end cottage of
the group of three cottages on Lock Hill (No1 Lock Hill), before
the building on the corner was constructed. |
|
It is not known whether
the 'Chelmer Brig' or 'Thomas Warraker's
Beer House' was the first 'beer house/public house' in the village. |
|
Was also used briefly
as the Lock Keepers house. |
