Bill Stone

 owned the Boomie 'Genesta'.

 The 'Genesta' was built in 1886 by Vaux of Harwich for 2,100 pounds, and had paid for herself within 6 years.

 He lived in and also owned the original 'Old Ship' in 'Two Ways lane'.

Bill moved away from the Basin to West Mersea in 1924.
