In 1920 May & Butcher
bought a number of huts from the Royal Navy base on Osea Island.
Mt Blott the manager erected at least four of them within the
village. Two within their own woodyard, one for his sister on
'Mucker's Island', and another for his own use alongside the
canal basin. |
