Son of Colin Brookes,
Peter began boatbuilding and repairs while still at school. Worked
for 'Hartley & Brookes' and then moved off to work on his
own. Worked from home in the village first then had a yard with
a well established boat restoration business just outside Maldon.
Specialised in the restoration and rebuilding of classic racing
yachts, especially 'West Solent Class' yachts in the 1990's. |
