Peter Tolfrey lived and operated
from the premises that was originally Purkiss's Stores at 106
Basin Road, his father had previously kept a boat moored ion
the canal for many years. His company 'Tolcraft' was involved
in interior design and furniture, he also leased one of the large
sheds beside the canal known as 'The Red Shed' where his son
Stuart began his boatbuilding business of small-craft. Peter's
daughter Tina, also operated her 'Tolcraft Secretarial Services'
from the same premises. The premises were also divided up into
two other units which were rented out to 'Blackwater Printing',
and a shipping agency. |
